Jerry's Lock & Key has always been about providing affordable and reliable Residential, Commercial, and Automotive Locksmith Service to Ventura & Los Angeles County for over 40 years.   Always family owned and operated by the Oberle family, we established Jerry's out of Newbury Park.  Business quickly grew and so we decided a more central location was in order.   As of today, you can find us at our current office location of 2021 Erbes Rd in Thousand Oaks, CA which we have been at since 1985.   We also opened a shop location for a few years at 2517 Thousand Oaks Blvd in Thousand Oaks but we found the need for us to stay mobile was much greater so we did close up shop and are back to offering mobile service only.

 

 My parents, Jerry & Carol Oberle, have been providing locksmith service to this community since 1976 but sadly my father passed away in April 2013 leaving me in charge of the family business. 

I feel very honored to be able to carry on the tradition for my family who have worked so hard over the years building relationships with this community.

 

As a second generation, I am here to provide you with the highest level of expertise for all your locksmith needs.  I was born and raised in Thousand Oaks so you could say that my family and I know the community and the community knows us.  My wife and I celebrated 22 years together and we are proud parents of 3 teenage boys ages 16, 18, and 20.  We are here to stay and will be here for you for many years to come.  My customers are important to me and I strive to provide you with the best service possible.

 

What sets us apart from other locksmiths?  Our experience in the industry and our history in this community.  We know there are many so called locksmith companies claiming to be local and offering $19 service calls but this is what we call a bait and switch technique.  This $19 quote is simply for them to arrrive and any work you request will come with a very hefty upcharge.  We never quote a higher price after we arrive or mislead you about our arrival time.  We are always happy to quote you a price over the phone and if for any reason we feel that your situation is something we must diagnose in person we are also always happy to come out and offer you a free estimate.  Please call us any time if you need us.  We are looking forward to providing you with A+ service!
